Sometimes the weather just doesn't want to cooperate. Here are my guidelines for what to expect when the forecast isn't so great.

If a Tornado or Flash Flood watch/warning is in effect or lightning is present in the area during your time frame, your session will be immediately rescheduled to the next available date, no exceptions.  


You will have the option* to reschedule if one or more of these conditions are occurring DURING the time of our session:


  • Precipitation Forecast is 50% chance or higher
  • Temperature or Wind Chill is 35° F and below
  • Temperature or Real Feel is 95° F and above
  • Wind is Gusting at 25 MPH or more (location dependent)


*Rescheduling due to these conditions will be left entirely up to you. I realize that in some situations conflicts may make rescheduling not an option. Please know I am happy to be flexible and make adjustments where I can. Whether it be an alternate location or a new start time.


Cloud Cover

Please be aware that your session time may need to be adjusted by a minimum of an hour if the cloud cover is 80% or more at the time of your scheduled session. Because all session times are built around "Golden Hour" which occurs around Sunrise and Sunset. Thick cloud cover creates issues with available light (typically more of an issue for evening sessions). In the event we are experiencing 80% or more cloud cover at the time of your scheduled session you will be notified within the adjustment timelines stated below if your session time needs to be altered.   


Session Adjustment Time Lines:

AM Sessions - Final decision will be made the evening prior by 9pm

PM Sessions - Final decision will be made 4 hours prior to start time


Reasons for rescheduling outside of the conditions above may incur a $50 service fee.
